Paphos is where we are based, and for a build like this that matters more than it does for a website. A Systems Review is mostly watching how the work is done now — which spreadsheet the real figures live in, what still gets written on paper, the bookings that never follow the normal pattern — and here that is us in your office while it happens rather than reading a description you had to write for us. Limassol is an hour along the coast, Larnaca ninety minutes, and the east of the island runs mostly remotely; those work, but they are built from what we were told, and the distance between the job described and the job done is where the expensive rework sits. The two systems we have built in Cyprus are both for one wedding planner, working here and in Limassol: a private area where each couple builds their own plan, and a public supplier list with prices, reading from one set of records so the price a couple sees cannot differ from the price in their quote. That experience is weddings and events, though — for a villa-management or car-hire business we would be starting from how you work rather than from something we had built before.

Most of our customers are in the UK. Will they actually use a login?
It is the case a login earns its keep in. Cyprus runs two hours ahead of the UK, so a question asked there at nine in the evening waits for your next morning. A login answers it at the hour they ask — their own dates, their choices, and what has already been paid. Some will email anyway, so it shortens the inbox rather than emptying it. Business here runs in English by default, so one language is usually enough; selling into Germany or Russia as well means a second, which is extra work to build and to keep current.
We only trade from spring to autumn. When should something like this be built?
Winter, if the timing is yours to choose. A full business system is four to eight weeks from start to live, needs a few hours of your time spread through that, and wants a spell of you using it before anyone else does. Starting in autumn leaves room for all three; starting in May puts the learning into the weeks you can least spare. A €500 Systems Review comes first either way and takes one to two weeks, so that is the part to book earliest.
Our team changes between seasons. Does that matter?
It is one of the better reasons to keep the records in one place. What gets agreed with a customer over email stays in the inbox it was sent to, so next season somebody pieces it back together from the thread. Held in a system it stays put, and you set who can see what — which matters more than it sounds when the people handling customer details change every year.
