We Build Your Website and Keep It Running.
STRATEX is a studio in Paphos that builds your website, keeps it online and looks after it once it is live — the backups, the security updates and somebody watching that it is up are our job rather than yours. The site itself is yours once it is paid for, as are your domain, your content and your data. We also build the software behind the jobs you do by hand, and shoot the photography and film that fill the pages. 18 projects are live across Cyprus, the UK and Greece.
We moved the studio to Paphos, not the client list.
Some of the work is a short drive from this desk. The rest we have never stood in the same room as, and it is built no differently.
Based in Paphos, Working Further Afield.
We work across all five districts of Cyprus, and for clients outside it. Wherever they are, the work is the same: photographs saved light enough that a page opens on a phone instead of leaving somebody at a blank screen, and one obvious next step on every page, because that is the part that turns a reader into an enquiry.

What You Are Buying
Yours, Built and Kept Running.
The site we build is yours. The design and the code are yours on the final payment. Your domain name is registered in your name, not ours, from the first day. Your content — the words, the photographs, the film — is yours, and so is your data: the enquiries, the bookings, the customer records. Ask for an export of any of it and you get one.
What you are paying us for after that is the running of it: the hosting, the security updates, the daily backups and somebody watching that the site is up. The first 12 months of that are in the project price. After that it is €20 a month, or nothing on top if you are on a care plan, because every plan already includes it.
You stay because it is easier than doing it yourself, not because you are tied to us. If you would rather host the site somewhere else, or move it to another studio, you take it with you — we send the files and help you move it. There is no fee for that and nothing to ask permission for.

How We Work
Clarity
A price and a timeframe in writing before anything starts, and any technical word explained in the same sentence it appears in.
Craft
Every site is drawn and built from scratch rather than fitted into a ready-made theme, so the pages fit what you actually sell.
Performance
Pages are built to open quickly on a phone on a weak signal, because a slow page loses the visitor before the first line is read.
Transparency
Prices are published on the site, VAT included, and we say what we cannot promise: there is no guaranteed fix time, because it depends on what went wrong.
