03 / What We Build

What we build, and how to check it

Three practices: websites, the software that runs the admin behind them, and the photography, film and social content that fills them. 18 projects are live and every address is published, so you can open the work and judge it yourself before you speak to us.

Work you can open

The honest answer to whether we can build the thing is not a paragraph, it is an address bar. 18 projects are live, and every one is listed on the portfolio with its real web address, so you can open it on your own phone and see how quickly it appears and whether it makes sense. Each case study says what was actually built — the pages, the booking flow, the parts that were awkward — rather than what was promised. And where something is unfinished, or has not yet run for a paying client, the page says so rather than leaving you to find out afterwards.

The website itself

A website has one commercial job: turn somebody who is looking into somebody who gets in touch. So we start from your prices, your busiest months and the six questions customers ask before they book, and design the pages around those. Everything is written by hand rather than assembled from parts, which is most of the reason these sites appear fast — and a page that appears fast loses fewer of the people who tapped it. A Launch site is €975, Growth €2,450, Signature from €4,750 and a Platform build from €7,500. Prices include VAT, work starts on a 50% deposit with the balance due once it is live, and hosting is included for the first twelve months, then €20 a month.

Software that does the admin

Every business has jobs nobody enjoys and nobody can skip: read the enquiry, send the quote, chase it, type the form into a spreadsheet. We build software that does those steps, so you keep the decisions and lose the typing. Two of them are whole products. FrameFlow is a full booking and admin system for wedding photographers — quotes, contracts, invoices, timelines and a private area for the couple — with rules that carry a booking from quote to signed contract to paid invoice without anyone chasing it, plus a booking form that drops into the studio’s own website. The other is a private, invite-only planning platform where a planner and a couple build the same plan instead of reconstructing it from a six-month email thread. A Systems Review is €500 and works out where your hours actually go; a single automation starts at €1,250 and a connected system at €3,750. Two things we sell — an assistant that answers questions on your site, and a phone line answered by a machine — we have built but not yet run for a client, so we claim no track record for them.

Photos, film and social

Most of what makes a site feel like a real business is the pictures in it, so we take them ourselves. Photography is planned against the layout it has to sit in, which means the wide shot is genuinely wide enough for the top of the page and nobody has to crop a head off six months later. Film is cut for where it will be watched — a longer piece for the site, fifteen seconds for a phone held upright — and compressed properly, because heavy video is the quickest way to make a good-looking page slow. We also run social accounts at €250, €500 or €950 a month depending on how much goes out, and we make the content rather than reposting what you send over. That work is organic: we do not buy followers, and posting is not a substitute for being findable.

After it goes live

A website is less a thing you finish than a thing you keep. We host what we build and we look after it: updates applied, something watching around the clock to tell us the moment the site goes down, and a copy of everything taken daily, so a bad day is a restore rather than a rebuild. Website care is €60, €245 or €595 a month depending on how much the site changes, and a care plan includes the hosting rather than adding to it. Systems care is €150, €300 or €500, because anything automated needs watching — the services it depends on change without warning. Monthly plans stop on thirty days’ notice and nobody is obliged to take one. The arrangement is worth stating plainly: the site is yours once it is paid for, your domain stays registered in your name, and your content and data are yours to export whenever you want. We host it and run it because that is less work for you than doing it yourself, not because you are tied to us. No phone number is published here, and that is deliberate: the exchange happens by email, so what gets agreed stays written down — write to hello@stratex.studio and a person in Paphos reads it. There is a direct line, and clients on the plans that include one — Partner care and the top social retainer — are given the number once the work starts.
