L'Chateau — website designed and built by STRATEX

The brief

A wedding venue is chosen on feeling and then justified on detail. Couples shortlist on photography, then need to know capacity, packages, catering, whether anyone can stay on site, and what it costs — usually while comparing three or four venues in browser tabs. The site had to win the shortlist on atmosphere and then survive the comparison on specifics.

What we built

We built a venue site that opens on the estate itself and then answers, page by page, every question a couple asks while comparing venues. Packages are broken out by the kind of wedding being planned rather than lumped into one price list, the suites and dining are given their own space, and awards and real weddings are used as proof rather than decoration. Enquiry is reachable from every route through the site.

The Breakdown

01

Package pages by wedding type

Separate pages for all-inclusive weddings, Paphos packages and elopement packages, so couples land on the option that fits instead of filtering a single list.

02

The venue and its spaces

Dedicated presentation of the estate, its private spaces and the sea and hillside views that carry the decision.

03

On-site suites

The accommodation given its own page — a genuine differentiator against venues where guests have to travel.

04

Dining

Catering presented as part of the offer rather than a line item, which is how couples actually weigh it.

05

Real weddings and testimonials

Weddings that have actually happened at the venue, plus couples’ own words — the proof that converts a shortlist into a site visit.

06

From enquiry to “I do”

An explicit walkthrough of what happens after the enquiry, removing the uncertainty that stalls destination bookings.

Disciplines

  • Web design
  • Venue & package presentation
  • Gallery system
  • Technical SEO
  • Enquiry funnel

Under the hood

  • Next.js on Vercel with a near-fully WebP image pipeline for a gallery-heavy site.
  • EventVenue and LocationFeatureSpecification structured data, so the venue’s facilities are machine-readable.
  • FAQPage markup targeting the comparison questions couples ask before shortlisting.
  • Location-targeted pages for wedding venue searches in Paphos and Cyprus.
